Meet Derek

Derek brings a unique approach to sourcing candidates for open roles. He listens to the needs of all parties, has strong communication skills, and is open and honest about the progress of the search. Derek will go out of his way to find the most fitting role to enhance his candidates’ careers.

Derek is an experienced General Manager with an extensive hospitality and customer service history. He has a diverse background working in several different styles of restaurants from fast-paced casual to upscale dining, with over 8 years of experience managing up to 80 employees. Derek is a strong operations professional with a team-first mentality and a hands-on management style who is always looking for opportunities to scale the company and find more efficient ways to operate.

Outside of work, Derek enjoys watching sports and is a huge Seattle Mariners and Seahawks fan. He also enjoys the Florida teams (Panthers NHL and Miami Heat) since he spent 7 years living there. Derek also enjoys golfing, biking, snowboarding, and any type of water sport.
