Rob Weaver has been with Goodwin Recruiting since March 2020 and has thoroughly enjoyed helping both clients and candidates. He is a longtime Dallas-area resident but doesn’t claim to be a native Texan, especially since he doesn’t own cowboy boots or a cowboy hat!
Rob spent 26 years in various recruiting and human resource roles, 21 of those years in the restaurant/hospitality industry with two different organizations. From 2016 until early 2020, he was an HR consultant, focusing on contract work in various industries, including technology, interviewing and hiring for a wide range of positions, including sales, marketing, executive, finance, accounting, tech support, engineering, and human resources.
Rob utilized Goodwin Recruiting’s services for many years during his time in the restaurant industry and was consistently impressed by the company’s professionalism and results. Recruiting has always been Rob’s favorite aspect of human resources, so he decided to take the plunge into making it his sole career focus—Goodwin being the only organization he considered joining.
