About Ryan:

Ryan Marino joined Goodwin Recruiting in February 2016. He is a Senior Hospitality Recruiter with Goodwin. During his career, Ryan has worked for Ravinia as a Director of Premium with Levy, Morton's as a Traveling Assistant General Manager and Wine Director, the WIT Hotel, and Mercat a la Planxa for Chef Jose Garces.

Ryan sat on the board of directors for the Chicago Gourmet Society for six years, where he planned, promoted, and executed gourmet food and wine events with famous chefs, authors, local restaurants, and wine promoters. He earned an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts in 2004 and a Bachelor's in Culinary Management in 2005 from the Culinary Institute of America. Ryan also obtained a Master's of Hospitality and Tourism Management from Roosevelt University in 2012.

Ryan served in the U.S. Navy from 2000 to 2002 in VFA-83. A Hornet squadron detached from the aircraft carrier U.S.S. George Washington during Operation Enduring Freedom. He was a Mess Management Specialist (chef, cook, and organizer) for Rear Admiral Roughhead, officers, and chiefs.
